Here my extra $.02 on this Remove and cap install....

I went to lowes and picked up a package of 2 1" Nylon hole plugs to plug the hole. The Brand is by "hillman" and its found in the "odds and ends" drawer at Lowes. The plugs even have "feet" that lock the plug into place!!! Also picked up a small tube of "GE Silicon II Window and Glass" sealent to prevent any leakage. then put some painter tape on top to let it set for a few hours.

Caps: $1.35 for 2. (they only come that way)
Sealent: $3.95
The look: PRICELESS!

Ive done this to my old Passat wagon so I'm knowledgeble on how to do this and the cap NEVER leaked. As an FYI tho, you might wont to put a small screw in the old spray hose just incase you hit the function for the rear sprayer on accident. I've done that on my last 2 cars.

any questions just ask!

you could also reroute your rear wiper tube in the front of the car to mist water onto the intercooler. might as well, now that it wont be used for anything anymore!

i'mn getting the NOS intercooler mister, but it seems that using your rear wiper pump and botle would be the cheap way out.

Ive had my rear wiper out for over 2 years and have never had any water leakage problems. I used a simple rubber plug from my local rubber store which fitted nice and tight over the hole.
No need to go overboard with this one!
