Might I suggest a capacitor setup much like high powered audio systems. That initial jolt of turning those lights on might really wear on the electrical system. A 1 farad capacitor would alleviate the power surges.

Oh, and post pics

I can't wait to see it! Are you leaving the 55w or going with the 100w... either way it will be bright as hell!

just finished another install of mine.

I bent up and welded some brackets together and mounted my rectangular lights lower in the grille.

i think it looks a bit more 70's or 80's like now, just the way i like it!

Now THAT is SHARP! Simple, clean....absolutely love it. Would have been even sweeter if those little ones in the grille were HID. What's the beam pattern like on those? Are they considered fogs or driving lights? I assume the larger ones on the bottom are driving lights.

Looks awesome

Life is full of compromises I try and avoid parking in public as much as possible

Duck360198, I use the small lamps as fogs as the beam is cone shaped and effective for short distances. I also use them as DLRs for the sight impared. The 540s handle the long distance lumens...though there's always room for improvement

Will you be at MOTD06? Shall we start the first annual, "EYES OF GOD" shootout?
