My '05 MCS is solid Dark Silver w/Chrome Line Exterior.

Among many ideas I've had, one is to research whether or not there might be such a thing as chrome bonnet stripes available after market?

Any recs? Thanks.

 

These aren't chrome, but silver and are as close to chrome as I wanted. I think chrome will be too bright. These came from CooperFlags.

 

Not my MINI, but this is a CR MCSC with chrome bonnet and boot stripes.

 

I have chrome flames on my mini and they were a real pain to apply. The chrome is much stiffer to work with than traditional materials. And if you use a heat gun, be careful they like to curl up. Also I don't think chrome sticks as well either.

I'm intrigued that the "mirror" quality of chrome could be interesting, however. Especially if I switch out the air intake to carbon fibre.
