Here are exterior pics of my 2005 MC, Red 5. Graphics were applied by Mike of Aesthetic Creations.
Red 5 on Endor. Let's run down some Ewoks!
Red 5 wouldn't be complete with plates and an astromech droid.
Logo of the Rebel Alliance. A toy Tie Fighter and X-Wing hang in the windshield.
The Incom logo and a chrome XW on the boot. Now there's a COOPER XW on the road!
Five Imperial cogs mark my kills!
A painting by Ralph McQuarrie adorns the roof. It's the Death Star trench battle from Star Wars, A New Hope. The Rebel Alliance logo can also be seen on the gas cap cover (there's on on the opposite side too)
If you look real close between the seats, you can see the blue and white of R2D2. He's in the cup holder (AKA the Droid socket). And yes, I do keep a lightsaber in the glove box.
I see that Aesthetic Creations did the install. Did they print the roof vinyl?
Yes, Mike did have the roof vinyl printed. I scanned the image from an 8x10 at 760 DPI, cleaned it up in PhotoShop and mailed a CD with all of the Star Wars art - either as Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator files - to him.
Absolutely awesome, a great theme that is fun and still tasteful!
I'm currently in talks with Mike about a roof graphic of my own and seeing how great yours looks makes me want mine NOW!
Can't wait to see what you come up with next!

Thanks for the nice comments. I receive lots of from other drivers and people in parking lots. The MINI and the Star Wars deco spark lots of fun conversations in parking lots, and the kids in my neighborhood all love Red 5.
That's Obi Shawn's H-Wing Carfighter made from a Honda Del Sol. It's well known and also recently wrecked, but thankfully no one was hurt and it was not totalled. His car is really cool, but I though it would be way over the top for a brand new MINI, IMO.
The other MINI owner and I appear to think a lot alike. I've been working on plans for making S Foils like his (for when parked) and it appears our concept for putting them on is pretty much the same.
Oddly though, I think I read something about a movie script being optioned about Star Wars fans (sort of like Trekkies), where this guy and his car were featured.
I think he's a Hollywood prop guy who built his del Sol over time. And folks think MINIacs are crazy.
Mike did make a perforated piece for the sun roof, but I left it as solid. It maintains the sharpness and brightness of the artwork... and when I look up I can see Luke and Artoo! It's pretty cool.
