Red shift *****

I’m getting an all anthracite interior so thinking of a red shift **** to give it a spot of sporty color inside. Anyone else do the same – photos???

Right now considering the RAZO RA96RE ****

or the one on the far left from MyMini

Anyone installed one of these and how do you like them? Photos?

Doesn't MINI also sell a version of their stock shift ****, where the chrome part is replaced by a painted piece? The painted piece can be any of the exterior colors, so you could order Chili Red or something...

I'd look for them on MINI's web site, maybe buried in the later levels of the build-your-own MINI section???

Good luck.

WOW, Jeff, that chrome dash looks great!!
I am not a huge fan of chrome, but I am now........

BTW, does anyone know if Mini ever made an Electric Blue gearshift ****?
I picked up my 02 EB this year, and they didn't have one at my dealership.
Anyone........?

Thanks. I couldn't find any blue stock looking *****, that is why I went with the Momo. I am happy with the result though. It looks sporty and the extra height works well with the short shifter.

I don't like the plastic, sticky feel of the stock **** so that is why the Mini colored ones are not on the short list. Thanks to all who have replied.

kyriian,
I'm not following you about the pairing with silver problem? Are you meaning the silver part of the Razo **** would clash with the little bit of silver (spokes on steering wheel)?

I should have mentioned from the beggining that Whalen is out of my budget range right now.

i never liked the red on silver theme... red on black is my favourite though... im suggesting you blank out all silver trim... do them in red vinyl and it'd look awesome...

just my opinion though

So I am trying really hard to procrastinate a project that I need to finish tonight, so I searched ebay for "red shift ****". The same seller that I got my Momo **** at about half price has a few red *****. This one is $50:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MOMO-...6170QQtcZphoto

There are a lot of cheapies listed as well.

I also found these and am posting for humor's sake:

I definately think that you should get the skull. Would look very classy. Wow, I better get back to my project.

Oh man, I didnt even notice until now, if you look close at the ugly chrome and red **** at the bottom that I just posted above, there is a scary-*** reflection of what looks like a clown face. Did a clown take this picture? That is really disturbing to me for some reason. Now really, back to work.

I have a Momo race air leather shift **** in red. I also got the matching boot that screws right onto the **** which eliminates the annoying and ugly gap between the shift boot and ****. Got to get a photo up!

The same ebay seller has the Momo **** and boot for only $43. I swear I am not affiliated with him or Momo, just like his prices. Here's the pic:

That would add some more red to your interior!

Saw it, but wasn't going to say anything because I thought YOU took the picture.

For the shift boot I was thinking something like this from Redline Goods.

I don't care for screaming red, just a touch of it. I had seen the Momo shift ***** and passed since their logo if blazing across the top and sometimes in a contrasting color. Other than Mini & Guiness, I don't like being free ads for companies.
