Any pics of tow-hook license plate mounts?

I searched but couldnt find any. I was thinking of using an aluminum angle and clamping it down on the hook when sitting horizontal, and then screwing to the bottom of the plate. I want it to look clean though. Does anyone have any great ideas or pics?

why not just drill holes in the euro plate and zip-tie it to the lower grill . Assuming its mesh-style and has holes to loop the zip-tie through.

Its not a euro-plate and I dont want to block the lower grill, for looks or performance.

You'd be blocking it with the plate on the towhook regardless.. Just tie it right next to the towhook or as far off to the side as you can...

No, when mounted on the tow hook it barely blocks the grill at all, it covers the bumper area between the two grills.

Oh i see what you mean... then why don't you try using some heavy duty double-sided tape and mount it in-between the upper and lower grills on the orciari? I have my europlate mounted like that, doesn't fly off at high speeds. And doesn't block airflow.. just a thought.. Good Luck though .

Its amazing how long it can take to rig up a mount to attach to the tow hook, but I'm finally done. I'll post some pics next week. Total cost = less than $10 (using existing license plate frame), and it looks good.

Here we go. I used an aluminum angle and some various bolts. Just had to cut the angle for length, and then cut a strip for the bottom and bent it. Then drilled holes for the bolts to clamp it down, and to bolt the angle to the license plate frame. Then I used a thin washer to make the tow hook horizontal instead of vertical:

Looks good!
just watch it at speed because the plate isnt that strong (doesnt look like you have a backing) and dont want to see it bend back and scratch that bumper...

Send a PM to SCMCS

He made a bracket by modifying the tow hook since it has a unique thread pitch to make his plate holder.
