New CF bits

Well, my new goodie from Japan finally went on. CF headlight rims. CF haters will really hate my car now

I thought these were JDM only parts but I found these guys sell them in the US.

http://www.umnitza.com/

I think they look cool along with my CF scoop. Looks bit like the new 911.. What do you guys think?

not really feeling it...altho cf can be pretty sexy on DS sometimes

edit: Just figured i would add reasoning so i didnt just seem like i was being negative for no reason. It seems to me that such black bold lines around such bright shapes (bluish-chrome headlights) kinda makes the front of the car seem very busy and begins to divide the flow into many shapes.

Thanks guys. Yes there are real CF. I have a blue film overlay on my headlights. I know what you mean by busy Rallymini. I do like the chrome on the headlights as well so I really had to think about the install for a while but they can always come off so I went for it. I think with DS, I can still keep the overall color scheme to two tone black and dark silver, so I thought I can get a different look.

I actually totally forgot that you had a black roof (thought it was white) and all black wheels.....so you may be able to pull it off. Any pics that are from further back?

edited: you edited and added a pic....does look better since it matches the roof now you need cf mirrors hehehe

I like it. How do they stay on? Double sided tape?

What is that blue thing in your mini emblem?

My mirror covers are already CF

Yep, they stay on with some double sided tapes. I have a blue emblem overlay says "mini" rather that MINI. There was a guy on ebay selling these but I haven't seen it for a while. Blue is my color of choice for subtle accents thought out the car. Lug nuts, intercooler cover, Nology wires, Alter CAI pipe, headlights etc..

I know, I am getting those next! Powerbulbs in the UK seems to be the best place to get them since they give you the parking light bulbs for free.

yup, and shipping (free) only takes a few days despite the fact that they are across the pond

You gotta get this too.

No you can't. Like many other Japanese vendors, you have to be in Japan with cash to buy these.... I was in Japan last months. Please check my post in vendor section.
