Did you know that Hurst makes a MINI shifter?

Good, cause they dont.

Ive only seen one other MINI with a Hurst in it, and it was a pistol grip.

just kiddn...I was seriously thinking of having Doug Whelen fit a Hurst pistol grip onto his quick release. Do you have any pics of your friend's pistol grip Mini?

While you're adding two more gears to the shift ****, you should consider making it a 10 speed

I asked him about it before, and thats where i got the idea.

I would have a Pistol Grip in my car had they not cost $250 bucks for a new one. I found a company that makes screw on replica Hurst PG ***** for Mustangs, and those are only 50 bucks, so i may get one of those eventually.

For now, im going to find another ball with a 6 speed pattern, or just make one, and get a brushed Hurst T handle.

The car feels alot more like a muscle car now, just without as much slop in the gears.

I made a Hurst 4 Speed ball fit on a threaded MINI shifter.

They are all made of soft metal. I used a 12mm tap and tapped the threads on the shifter, then, drilled and retapped the ****. fit like a charm the first time.

That right there is on a Fidanza SS. Actually, the shifter and the ball are for sale, i dont need them now that ive made this new one.

Its fits pre 10/03 cars, $75 bucks for the shifter and ****.

Let me guess: wood rimmed chrome three spoker with holes, a chrome moon cap horn button and a brody ****.

What did I win?

Nah, i decided not to go old school on the wheel too....

Just a pretty, simple Autotecnica wheel. Leather/perforated vinyl covered.

the paintwork on it front the factory was pretty crappy. i'm redoing it now to see if i can make it a little nicer.
