Offical MINI grill badge holder

Picked up the latest copy of the you-ification workbook at a local dealership today. I noticed that there's a grill badge holder. Cool! List price is only $20. But I do not know the part number b/c it's not listed in the insert that lists all the part numbers.

Oh, very nice. I've been thinking I'd like to have one so I can put an Italia badge on mine. I'll have to check this out...sounds like it will be frivolous accessory purchase #1.

Contact the parts manager at your dealer. He/She should be able to get you the PN. If you get the PN please post here in the thread. I need one too to mount my build badge to my lower Aero grille.

I picked it up today.

Easy to install. The back of the badge holder is lined with foam so it won't scratch the grill. The package contains two types of rear brackets. One for use with the 3 bar grill and another one for use with the aero and 4 bar grill. You will need a 7mm socket for the locking nut. But you won't need the wrench. I just used the socket attached to a extension piece and tighten by hand.

Now I'm just waiting for my Union Jack badge from Motoringfile

Only if you order it from their website. I paid $25 at their parts counter. I'd figure it would come out even with shipping. It was a gorgeous day for a drive so I drove over and picked it up myself.

Yep! Mine came in the mail just yesterday. The site listed no charge for shipping but the invoice in the package listed $5.

I also ordered a few badges from toddsmods.com and received an email receipt and my paypal went through but I'm starting to worry a bit. I haven't gotten a shipped notice and I sent email about it and got no response.

Hmmmm.

RE: shipping price
up until the final checkout step it said shipping was TBD, but the shipping policy link said orders under $50 were $5 for shipping.

RE: toddsmods
I didn't get a shipping notice either, but my badges did come. I trust you'll get yours. It can't be easy to have that kind of variety to select from and then make all the badges when you're doing it on the side (versus as a full time job like some of the MINI tuners). Just saying, patience will be rewarded.

Ah...thanks. After waiting 1.5 months for my MCS and after having her for only 2 days I'm chomping at the bit to add my minor you-ifications. New Minis tend to destroy any semblance of sanity on the part of those ill prepared for the experience. Having a badge holder with nothing to stick on it...aaaaah...it's killing me

In reality, I'm not that worried or upset about anything. So far I've been extremely happy with all of the NAM vendors I've ordered from before I even had a Mini to use the products on.
