GOOD quality stripes

I put boot stripes on and they look BAD after 1 year !!!
They came from a vendor that has something to do with coopers and flags.

I want better quality black with white edges. Is my best bet OEM ???
For the boot just straight not curved works and the OEM look as if they are curved in the photos proir to application, I am guessing to compensate for the curve of the bonnet.

Are OEM curved
where can I get good stripes

Kind of a last resort but if the OEM are curved vynl at the end could you get two sets and just cutoff the curved part and do an exrtemely precise job matching up the sets

You know ... I think that is what I will need to do.
The aftermarket quality just doesn't seem to be nearly as good.

The OEM are about 2X the price but this may be a better long term way to go.

I saw on one listing that the Cooper and the S were listed as different items.
Could one be shaped differently than the other ???

Stripes

I just striped my Mini this morning, I got a 150' roll of white vinyl 4" wide for $38 enough to do a whole Mini club if they all wanted the same color. I got the material from MrLetter.com

Let Ed at Cooper Flags know your problem and I'll bet he will do his best to make good on his stripes. You're the first I've know to have had such problems after only a year.

You should not be having problems with your stripes after only a year. We use only 3M 2ml cast vinyl, with a 5-7 year rating, and when properly cared for, there is no reason to have problems after only one year. Please send me a photo and let me know your routine of cleaning and caring for your graphics, when they they were installed, the name of the installer, along with your name and address information. I want to see if we can determine why they are failing so soon. If there was a problem with the material or something with production, I want to get them replaced ASAP.

I think we should all use duct tape for stripes. that would look cool.

Check with these guys. They use Oracal Vinyl and very high quality. They will make anything you want and easy to work with. If you look on the main page and at the Mini Cooper section in the Online Catalog you will see my PW/B with rally stripes. No, I have nothing to do with them, they just liked my photos after installing their vinyl and asked if they could use my photos.
