OK so I'm disregarding the lambo door but I want to see more pics of that car. That looks sweet!

and in terms of et30, what width are you thinking and will you be lowering it or modding the fenders? Stretching the tires?

Oh, i was jsut going off his thread hear

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=26697

I wouldnt mind trimming the fenders or stretching the tires a bit. Not sure if i would go as extreem as he did, maybe 215/40

I do plan to lower, but only on h-sports per our conversation last saturday.

Im not planning on doing anything but lower for the time being, probably on H&R Coilovers to about the height of the DS/B, car with the Kerschers. With this in mind what size/offset should I go for? Also which of those vendors would you go with?

Thanks Man!

yah....you arent gonna really enter the euro scene without paying heinous prices for wheels....especially 17s.

35 is a safe offset for you. look at the offsets that strom posted. 30 would be a nice little poke, but it would rub if not set up correctly.

its definitely metal

If it was bondo and you ever bumped them or maybe rubbed your tire on the fender....the bondo would crack and also ruin the paintjob.

Looking at the pictures, the flares appear to be a fiberglass panel. You can see it in white gelcoat in the construction shots.

damn! when will they make/sell parts like that? sounds freaking expensive otherwise.

not that i'm afraid of custom bodywork, just need someone who can do it.

The article said that it was all metal....i think the white is just the final layer of primer.

stretching tires on a 7" wide wheel is lame. although a mini could pull it off much more easily than a vw mk4.

Back on track...

What about these...? Look, no lights. Easy mod, just have to find a way to get them in the US. Anybody?

why? why would you want them. it looks so much smoother without them. european cars don't use them. they're not essential.
