I was saying i wouldnt want PAINTED reflectors as mentioned in the post above mine. I would much rather have the actual euro spats. Me and you agree

But wouldn't that require you getting a whole new trim piece? And wouldn't that be kind of expensive, as aposed to the "cover" up design.

I also do agree that not having them at all looks better...but also more expensive.

I always grew up learning "if it's worth doing, it's worth doing right" I would just save up until i could get the real deal instead of having the reflector outline still visible.

I beleive this would be my cue....

Better late than never, here is RSR... the first MINI to go 'euro' as you call it. Since dec 2003 I've been rockin this ALL Dark Silver Beauty. CALI style, shaved, and painted, dumped, and detailed; enjoy the first of the dechromed MINIs. And you know its not over yet. Stay tuned this month as I unveil the latest in MINI design and styling with our friends M7. Wish I could tell you more... Im sure some of you already know.

Those are Axis Reverbs 17X7. Nice wheel, but a PITA to clean with the hollow spokes.

well why not just tint them (which is what I'm sure they did in your above photo)...and like I did on mine At least there is still something there to light up at night.

Chill out? How was I ever over the top? And I believe you are wrong BTW - and what silver car?...No, he was assuming I painted my lights and called it rice. I never have and will never do any "rice" to my car. So I was wrong in saying the other car had probably tinted their markers like mine. If anything he should have chilled and not used the word rice in regards to anything on my car. Cause those are fighten words where I come from

he was talking about a post on the last page towards the bottom that suggested doing this (this may be PW now that i look at it...not silver)

and he was indeed right....euro cars dont have reflectors. Its a US regquirement.

to each his own.

back on topic.

i personally like the side markers... they give the US MINI an extra signature touch. tint em whatever... but personally i find them cool, cause no one else has em light up running light style.

however, this is a "euro" thread. so.... go on with your bad self. do it up!

ps... msfit just wanted to use the word rice in a euro thread. he eh heheeh

I found a great picture of a Euro/riced out Mini Cooper S. I'm having some trouble posting a picture of it now, but I will hopefully have it up later tonight.

hahaha how can something be euro/riced? One is overly simple while the other one is overly complex
