CAN a mini be JDM??
Well, ive asked this before about mine, seeing I came from Asia, i guess it is inevitable... but since it seems recently people are bent on slamming the 'euro' look and that minis can't be euro.... so can MINIs be jdm? as in lots of stickers (vinyls?), CF hood? JDM wheels in bronze or gold?
can someone make it as pretty as this AMUSE Z?
just wondering.......

MINIs can be whatever you want to be. I think most people would say euro is better than JDM though. btw what's up w/ the M3/M5 style side sills on the Z? hehe
I'll end up having JPN wheels (gramlights 57F) and suspension(tein SS w/ EDFC), but doesn't necessarily like the JDM "look" if there is even such a thing.

My impression is "JDM" stands for "Japanese Domestic Market" and is focused on aftermarket and manufacturer upgrades available for mainly Japanese cars in Japan only.
Thus a "JDM car" sort of has to be a Japanese make... Kinda like the Acura RSX I see around work that's decked out in "Honda Integra" badges... To me, that is the definition of a "JDM-style" car in the U.S. Emulating a car available in Japan, but not here.
A MINI can easily be modded with an Asian style: C.F. hood, body kits, wild graphics, etc... I see a few of those at local shows... But unless it has parts on it available only in Japan and grey-market imported to the U.S, I wouldn't consider it "JDM."

Not sure you will call mine JDM, like other said, MINI can be any way you want (of course if you have the $$ ). Having said that, I have Enkei wheels (soon to go, just ordered Racing Sparco, still Japan wheel ), vinyl, and some Japanese accessories. Just make yours whichever way you like.
