Dave,

The black hood scoop looks great. I'd like to do the same, unfortunatly my dealer could not find a part number for the scoop. If you ordered a new one to paint black do you have the part number?

Thanks!

Welcome to MCO! It feels good to say that. I have kind of fallen out of practice with it, but it is good to see a new face on the site. So welcome.

Scoop Part Number: 51 13 7 060 469

We're about 2 weeks away from mass production on CF hood scoops. As stated in this or another thread, the biggest problem are the attachments underneath, and we have worked extremely hard on the tooling to get it right, to the point where we are pursuing a patent (patent will be pending upon release).

Here is a picture of it, though please understand that the quality of the carbon fiber, the fittment, and the finish (not to mention the smudges all over it!), are of poor quality in comparison to the finished product. This is just a beta version. Price has been set at $299, and we are taking pre-orders through paypal (sales@benferperformance) of $150 which will ship in the order recieved. We are open to wholesale distribution.

We also have mirror covers, a wing, and an interior coming out. Stay tuned!
