Nope, the old ones came right off. As far as the lights go, stay tuned and I think you'll like my next mod in about a week

swarley, if you don't mind my asking - how much were you charged for installation of the stripes?

One of my Buddies @ DTM helped me install them.... but it took about 2 hours.

I would say it probably cost about $150 or so for the install.

I paid an independent graphics shop something like that to have a center checker stripe installed on the bonnet and roof of my MCS. Pretty much twice the price of the vinyl itself, but it's worth paying someone to do it right, in my opinion!

Ok. I just received my sport stripes in the mail. Does any one have instructions on how to install these? I'm clueless. Thanks.

Very nice.

Boy were these a pain in the *** to install. A friend of mine helped install mine yesterday. It must have taken us a couple hours since we took our time to make sure we did everything right. A couple questions. Did everyone remove the hood scoop? Also, did everyone's sport stripes for the bonnet need to be modified/cut since they were made for MINIs without the hood scoop? Overall I'm satisfied with how they turned out but for $60+ I'm a little disapointed with the cut of the decals.
