Bonnet Stripes Poll

I am considering some bonnet stripes from AesthetiCreations, but am having trouble to decide which to choose. I have included the choices I have narrowed it down to. Help me decide. Here is a picture of the car in its current form:

EDIT: I can't find the poll button. So just post your choice:

1. Checkmate version in Red
2. Black Bonnet Stripes with Red Pin Stripes
3 Carbon Fiber Stripes with Red Pinstripes
4. Leave it how it is - no stripes.

4. Leave perfection alone.

I'd stick with the black and chrome thing you have going. Definitely NOT fake carbon fiber since you have a very good look that will be seriously cheapened with fake CF.

How about matte black stripes (to match the aero grille and plastic side moldings) with a chrome pinstripe as another choice?

hard call - i am trying to pick colors myself for my RG.

not sure what AC offeres, but my local sign guy has about 6-7 metallic colors, from pure silver to a deep charcol color.

Some thing dark might look cool - very sleek and subtle....kind of like your carbon idea, without the carbon look.

I think that the red would stand out a little too much against the dark stripe - it woudl look too much like pin stripes. Keep it the same color, even if you do a space & a pin stripe.

hope that helps!

I've only seen one RG in person and I thought bronze stripes would look cool.

As much as I like stripes, I'd vote 4.

+1

I have black stripes with chrome pin on my Hot Orange MINI and love the look. I think it would look really good on your car, and keep the current appearance tied together with the addition of stripes.

For what its worth, my stripes came from AC

(Don't you love it when you ask for people's opinion of your choices and they give other ideas?)

I like Yucca's suggestion, barring that I'm with Red Ryder. I love stripes, too (I just added more to El Kabong last night) but you have a very clean, stealthy look going. Very hot!

Oh, and speaking of stealth. You should really put stealth bulbs in the front, get rid of the amber, and cover the reflectors in the wheel arches. Two of my favorite, inexpensive mods.

I think you should seriously consider Yucca's recommendation.

I also vote to leave it! I don't have any on mine. I think if you did get some, they would HAVE to be straight CF looking ones, but just that, CF only. No boarder or anything.

God I love black...

I have stripes on both my cars, but I would NOT put stripes on yours. Looks perfect to me. It could come down a little though.

if you were going to get a stripe, maybe a ghost gray or something
very subtle. www.cooperflags.com has these ghost colors.

Just to let you know, Aesthetic Creations is having a 4th of July sale on the black w/ chrome pin right now. $40.

But I will stick to what I said, and go nude.

I'm not sure what "Carbon Fiber Stripes" are. But I think the "Frosted Glass" Stripes would look awesome. Thats what I leaning towards on my Dark Silver

I wouldn't want mine without the stripes, but your car is perfect as is.

I think it looks great in the black without stripes.
However, my 2 cents......
Save the $$$$ on not doing stripes and buy some springs and drop that baby!! It would look super-choice with those rims.

Or tint it! I can't tell if they are tinted or not, but I think they need to be BLACK! That would look killer.

And a drop!
