Hood Scoop - What da ya think?

You'd think this Forum would have a "What do you think thread" as a Sticky, but I guess that would/could become difficult to search............

Anyway, Just picked this hood scoop up (thanks nparker for a fantastic price and great service) and thought I'd get some feedback

So what do you think?

Too dog's noseish or not

And you guys wanting one for your car can't vote either

Is it a stock black scoop?
I'm thinking of doing the same thing with the M7 Ram Air scoop.

That does make his little nose stand out more. I like it.

My, that garage almost makes me want to move South rather than West, but just almost.

Ohh wow I love that black scoop. I was thinking of doing that mod but didn't know how to do it. Where did you purchase that black scoop? or is it easy to remove the scoop and paint it black?

It's easy to remove and install a scoop. Painting, it depends. I originally bought a primered scoop and painted it black. Looked like crap. I bought a factory black one from someone with a black MCS who was going carbon fibre and sold the one I painted.
The painting bit, I discovered I suck at it. The swapping, 5 minutes to do it.

How much is a primed scoop going for? I am thinking of going with a silver scoop and getting a matching silver U stripe across my hood.

I think I paid somewhere around $35-40, but it was about 3 years ago so don't hold me to that. I got it from Classic Auto Campus at the same time I got my parcel shelf.
