How do you like it, and how well is it built? I'm thinking about buying it and using it with a different short-throw, or even with the stock shift for a little while, because I absolutely love the look of a plated shift well, but I don't know the diameter of the Craven short-throw shaft, or the diameter of the hole in the shift well.
Thats lame that no one answered because they're out there because I've sold them. I figured its been long enough that you'd rather hear from me than no one. The diameter of the hole is roughly 2 inches. The plate is made of anodized billet aluminum and you are right it looks great. Check out motoringfile's blog for a look at his http://www.flickr.com/photos/bridger...7594226602529/ We can now offer them in black or silver.
yes instructions are included, it's easy to install, instead of snapping the ring in you have to screw a new ring on with the four screws included in the kit.
Installing with the stock shifter woulf take all of 5 minutes if you very slow. Remove your shift know, then the stock boot, pull the ring up and turn it inside out and cut the ziptie in the inside. Boot will then come right off. Install Cravenspeed foam shim, and screw anchor(in the aft drivers side screw hole, it is ithe bigger hole) and plastic cover, then install well cover and screw down......

Sounds real nice and easy. I might have to add that to my MINI too. I like the clean look of it.
