G,day all. yep I am Australian.

This thread has come up before but the information I seek seems to be scattered all over the place and is a bit hard to find.

I am about to install a Boost Gauge and an oil pressure gauge to my New Cooper S. I would like to know the correct place to tap into the vacum/Boost line, also the oil pressure sender pickup in the engine bay, and the best location to run the wiring etc through the firewall.

If I can find all this out I will post a full photographic guide on how to do the full job, Which I am sure many newcomers will appreciate. Also I will publish how to construct your own professional looking gauge pod, saving heaps of dollars.

Purhaps someone out there has the instructions that came with the official Mini Auxilery gauge kit they could scan and send me.

Help appreciated.

I know a few people here have had this done and I think a photo walk through would be great for the rest of us.
