Interior/Exterior Door edge covers???

Yup. The door cup guards are a littlte difficult to install if you've never done it before, primarily becasue the instructions are really bad (for someone who has never done it before). I lost the first one I tried, so I now only have it on the driver's side. The door edging is simple as dirt to install, though, and is invisible to anyone short of the guy you shelled out $100 to for detailing.

On the door handle cups (chrome ones)....If you get them, check them for fit BEFORE you try to install them. They can go in two ways, but only one is right. I prefit BOTH sides and labled them Driver and Passenger with each also having an arrow pointing up so that when I finally put them in I'd know which is up and which side goes to which door. I also cleaned the door with denatured alchohol, filed the nubs off the back and removed the cheap double-sided tape that came with them then used dollups of an auto silicone type glue (Goop) and let them dry overnight. Seems to be working fine.
Did the same thing with the chrome vent covers.

Go the Clear-Bra material route. I got the cheap black plastic Pep-Boys models. They were a little thick and shifted a little over time (outward toward the door jamb) so that they started to rub just slightly every time I closed the door. I pulled them off and noticed that they had done a serious number on the clearcoat on the edge of the door from the small amount of dust/dirt under the edge of the guard acting like sandpaper every time the door closed. It took me about four hours of rubbing with a mild polishing compound to get the mark off (or at least nearly). :???:
