How do you remove the red/chrome S vents on the side of a Cooper S?

Push / pull on the "front" side the rear end has a notch fit.

Take a look at my gallery where i have photos oth the dissaembled .
I painted them flat black, keeping the "S" chrome.
and at the same time tinted the lens red

Raise the bonnet and reach to the side of the car. Push out on the front of the grill. When that side pushes out of the hole, then pull the grill towards you. The back part will slide out of the clip. Very easy.
