Best arm rest utilizing rear cupholder?

Search brought up nothing for me. Anyone have pics or links to armrests that utilize the rear cupholder PROPERLY? Any help would be great. THANKS!

i have this one that plugs into the rear cup holder, fills it up, then the 2 front mount points attach into the 2 existing plugs in the center section. No cutting, no bolts, just snapped in place with some added double sided tape for the rear cup holder area. 2 pics, one with my current blue seats, one with the old tan seats.

did you mean a center arm rest that leaves the rear cup holder usable? The Elbow Landing Device sold by TVA or Gotmini works very well and you can still use the rear cup holder

Yes, the center arm rest. It's tough to find one that actually looks good. I don't like the look of the one above at all I'm afraid.

Why does she hate it? It's probably the most functional arm rest available.

Define PROPERLY, please?

Do you mean this as; the rear cup holder is the proper place to mount the armrest?

or

After mounting the armrest the rear cupholder can still be used?

I say do away with the cupholder and go with MINIfini's products. Best armrest built - quality and function top notch We have two of them. Then pick up the older stock cupholder (another MINIfini product I believe) and mount it low to the passenger side downtube and rotated towards the rear of the car. Works for us

I like this one better than my stock one, I like how it opens up oposed to having to slide it open

It's a great arm rest. I just wish I could get one for my MCS. Every place I've found online is out of stock. I wonder if this will be going the same way as the euro parcel shelf?

I have the factory armrest installed and when in the upright position I have full use of the rear cupholder.

I was thinking the latter. I'll check out the products, but if I get leather downtubes, I'll need to find a place for ANOTHER cupholder, won't I? What a pain.

I'd think there'd be enough "give" in the wrap around bracket that your layer of leather won't be a problem. I'll have to give it a try tonight, since I've got another set of the door pull leather covers, I'll let you know.

BTW, I'm talking about this one:

When it is down ,the space between the frame of the armrest is too narrow for most containers to fit between, then down into the cupholder. When pulled up and out of the way there is nothing obstructing the use of the cupholder. It's easier to access my beverage from the rear holder when in the upright position anyway.

Here is the one I use. It mounts into the rear cupholder but still allows use of the cupholder. It also has a built in cupholder when you slide the armrest forward, as well as some storage room beneath the armrest cushion. The only problem I had is that it rubbed a hole in my ebrake boot. I just now have to remember to put the armrest in the up position before applying the ebrake. I got this one as a present last year and think it came from Minimania, just not sure. Installation was very easy, just removed the surround ring from the rear cupholder and had to dripp two holes for the mounting screws, then put the cupholder rubber cover thingy back in to hide the holes.
