Finally have pix of my Palo Uber Scoop!!!

I know some of you have been waiting for these, but it took forever to get the thing painted. What do you think? I love it and my girlfriend hates it, but "hey its my car"

Looks good. I've been waiting for a scoop like that - sharper than the rest. That will have to go on the xmas list.

It's definitely unique.

I like it, even though I doesn't really flow with the car, but I think it's much better than the other scoop (M7 maybe?) that sticks out.

Nice car btw

I'd dig it if it can be shown it works better then those on the market. Because for now it looks very out of place.

Well, since you asked what I think...

It's a bit goofy looking, IMHO completely. But, hey, honestly I've yet to see anything that improves on the look of the OEM scoop - even painting it a different color makes it look like a dog's nose to me. Making it stick out like that reminds me of a vacuum cleaner nozzle at the coin-op place.

What's important, though is the fact that YOU like it, and it might look better in person - I know the other aftermarket scoops that I've seen looked less obvious/better integrated in person.

Glad you're happy with but I have to agree with your girlfriend. Maybe you should label it 'Local Mail Only'.

I saw one in person. IMO it looks horrible compared to the M7 DFIC scoop. I hope it increases the air flow more than other available large scoops. At least it can help protect the front bumper.

I think it is cool, but make sure it doesn't inhale the mini logo.

I like it from the front but not from the sides. Is anyone ever going to come up with one of these scoops that sticks out to catch more air and actually goes with the MINI lines at the same time?

i think it's a VERY interesting scoop and i really want to see one in person. if it provides half the extra flow it promises, i'll buy one. with something that open up front though, i think it might need a screen to keep rocks, tree branches, and small animals from being ingested.

I agree with you. I knew the scoop would have mixed reviews but it is so ugly I like it. I also like it because my car is all black, I'm not sure how I would feel about it in other colors. It seems to work well with my Atla Aftercooler. Palo Uber in claiming 147% more flow and 6hp above 40mph.
M

Thanks Bro, I want the car to scare small children like clowns in a circus.

WOW. No offence but that has to be one of the ugliest things I ever seen on a MINI. Besides the Daisy rims of course.
