Well that would explain it. I was in the Army myself and we tended not to notice the marines.

Here's two different versions I've done. First are 10" viper style, second is an idea I stole from the Corvette Grand Sport.

Right, that was most likely the reason.

Andy, the stripe design looks great!!! I think maybe you should do another one on the other side though. Either the same format with the letters in it, or just a plain stripe that matches the basic design of the other one. But yeah, there's nothing wrong with the stripe now. The car just looks like it's missing something with just one.

I like it. Perhaps just the name on the bonnet or roof and a regular stripe in the other location. What light bar are you suing?

The off set single stripe was very "in" at one time on the British import "sports cars" as they were called. I have always like it myself.

One up each side could look well, thanks for the idea

I was thinking the Lohen branding was a bit much, that was one of the reasons I was unsure about it.

The spot lamps are mounted on individual mounts, all MINI supplied.
They go through the grille and rivet to the back of the bonnet.

Nice! ^^ I did something similar myself. I did the hood stripes myself (had no stripes from the factory). Put metallic silver pinstripes on the edges to match the chrome line exterior. Just did the perforated vinyl sunroof and roof stripes a couple weeks ago

Some of you guys were asking about the 3M Di-Noc off the web. I just purchased the black carbon fiber with red pin stripes and installed this past weekend.

Nice.

Unfortunately, they just look matte black in the photos. I had a DiNoc sample when i bought some vynil, that was my complaint... its hard to tell that its "Carbon Fiber" unless your close to it.

True but i like that matte look so it was ok with me. The seller i purchased this from was offering Black Carbon, Dary Grey, & Light Grey of which you would probably still not see the definition of the carbon.
