Pushing the bonnet stries out totally changes the look of the car. I really like it. They help the car look wider instead of taller. Nice work.

Who has put stripes over clear bra?

Who has put stripes over clear bra and what issues do you have, if any?

Thanks, Gene

My stripes are over my clear bra and it's no issue at all. The only thing that might happen is if you had to replace the clear bra (for what reason, I can't imagine), you would have to replace the stripes as well. But that is MUCH cheaper than putting the clear bra on over the stripes, and getting a nick in one or wanting to replace them and then having to pull off the whole clear bra to do so.

Hey, Mike... if you like pics of stripage in the rain, I got another for you:

Just kidding... don't use that on your website. That was a quickie pic I took this weekend. I'll get you a really nice pic of those custom pins when it's nice and sunny out and I can show off the recent polish and wax job I did.

But at least you can see that I finally DID get them installed.

Jey that looks great. And I do like Clean Car rain pics sometimes. The wet look can be cool I will await your sunny pics though.

It's not that hard at all.....here are a few pics of mine and my dad's MINI's

I was actually thinking that if I ever replace my OEM stripes with Draonflyer's, I'd push them out like that. Did you just use OEM ones, applied differently Rally, or were they custom-cut?

I will go with "custom fit" i guess? I went to autozone and bought a long roll of vinyl striping that they have. They have a large roll of black or white vinyl that looks like this with the side outline stripes (which i just cut-off)

Then i went back with black pinstriping to add a little definition to it. The whole roll was like 7 dollars and has lasted 3 years or so.....and its enough to do 10 cars probably (or do roof+boot stripes as well). I just used a hairdryer to get over of the more complex curves that you encounter when you push them out that far and then just made sure to take the stripes all the way to the grill cause i dont like when they end short.
