I have just bought a US aero body kit for my car ,but as i am from the UK my car doesnt have side markers as standard.Do all minis have the same wiring loom ?If so should i have unused wires for the markers that just need connecting or if euro looms are different where do the side markers get there live feed from.I figured that i could run a feed from the front side light/indicator unit but as for the rear im not sure if there will be wires visible once the bumper is off.

 

I'm not sure about the wire looms. You can always tap off the front turn signal wires.

 

The US spec cars are just running lights, always on. You could tap into any appropriate power source that has current only when the key is switched to the on position.

Actually you want to tap off the parking/running lights, not the turn signals. I believe UK/Euro cars will not have the wiring loom. See this thread: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=62047 or have mikeythemini do the wiring for you.
