I purchased bosch blades and they were awful - they rattled, hopped, and dragged. I finally replaced the blades on the original ones and I am very happy.

Don't bother with the new Bosch IKON blades either. Copy of the Michelin type and they suck. They don't make full contact with the windshield.

Any close up pics installed? Does the tip touch the glass on the rest position?

I'll take some tomorrow
None of the "BLADE" type wipers, will touch the glass in the rest position on the PAX side.. because of the curvature of the Glass

The Michelin Radius blades work great for me. I recommend installing 18" on both sides instead of the 19" as suggested in the booklet at the store for the passenger side wiper. 19" seems a wee bit too long.

Now i need to figure out where i can get the replacment blades when the time comes...

Are most people going with two 18" blades on the Rain-X wipers? Or one 18" and one 19"? The OEM passenger side blade is more like 18.5 inches. I guess half an inch either way shouldn't make much of a difference.

I bought a set of these recently. Went with two 18" blades since they didn't have any 19" ones in stock. They suck, neither one makes full contact with the windshield, I only just noticed when I was driving in the rain last week. Last year a friend who works for a Valeo distributor gave me a set of Valeo Flex Blades and they worked great. They did not have an airfoil attached to them, just a simple, skinny blade. I am going to try & find another set of those and trash the Rain X blades. I highly recommend that people avoid the Rain X blades, at least on Mini Coopers.

I recently tried the Rain-X wipers and thought they did a good job. The contact was pretty good, coverage was much better than the Bosch Icon on the passenger side, but they seemed a bit noisy to me. Has anyone tried both the Michelin and Bosch "blade" type wipers? Which is best?
