Post pics of your driving lights!

I want to get some driving lights for my newborn cooper s, but I really want to see all the options out there. I've found one or two on the forums, but keep losing track of them.

Please post what brand lights and bracket information (if it was a kit, custom, etc) along with your photos.

Thank you in Advance.

My next exterior mod will be new driving lamps, but I might also add the aero grill so I guess I need to decide that before I add new lights. I do like those 4 light bars that go along the bottom air inlet, but it seems like overkill. I assume I can just use the existing wiring for the new lights, perhaps the brackets as well? Is this an easy mod?

Does anyone know what the amp draw is with the four light setup? Does it require a battery & alternator upgrade?

Are the tiny ones the PIAA-X1100 you mention in your profile? Those are pretty sweet. Was it a lot of work to mount them?

Thanks for the fresh thread on this actually, as I see some interesting examples with the Aero grill, and I need more light for my GP desperately!

Steve, I can give you an idea of what the driving lights will do for you at the Christmas party next week.

Sounds like a plan! I guess I got "spoiled" by the wonderful xenons in my MCS.

The two reasons I opted for the JCW instead of a GP were no back seat and no xenons. The looks of them are awesome though.

One of the "trends" that probably still has a lot of life left is to "black out" all the trim pieces that would normally be chrome (like the trim that circles the car between the windshield, side windows, rear window, and the body). Sometimes it can look really good!

Here's mine with ipf's and Outmotoring.com mounting brackets. The brackets from Outmotoring are great, they offer the flexibility to mount the lights in many different configurations. I love em, now I just have to aim them down to avoid blinding oncoming traffic....

Nice. I love the way the sun reflects off that guy's massive beer gut.

Seriously, if those are driving beams, they are way too low - you're going to get massive glare off the road surface and no throw. Fogs would work there, though.
