Cooper "S" Side Repeaters on a Non-S

I just put a set of cooper "S" side repeaters on my 2002 Mini Cooper. I LOVE the new look!

The word "poser" comes to mind. If you don't have an "S", why try to imply that you do? There are several aftermarket chrome vents available, without the S on them.

Listen here ********* in not in the mood to deal with people like you today. I was able to get these for free from a friend that had a "S" that he totalled. I wouldnt buy these, just thought they looked better than the stock ones (which they do) If you dont like it I could careless. Keep your stupid coments to yourself.

Being that I'm a demonstrated side-repeater-car-personality-changer, I have a somewhat forgiving opinion on this, nonetheless, this should be fun to watch...

Jtrem, clearly you're emotionally charged about the response you got from 3cocinas. You have to learn to accept the good and the bad, especially when you start to badge a car to appear to be something it most certainly is not. It's your car, you can do whatever you want, but you can't expect not to get negative feedback when you post something like this.

I will say this though - you are lucky that whatever you typed was blocked by the filter, because you would have been slapped with an infraction if it showed up.

Keep it civil please, even if you don't like the comments.

kinda like putting SVT badges on a stock Focus, or Spec-V badges on a stock Sentra. If that's what you like, go for it.
Just be aware that the folks who paid the money for the real thing will have
negative comments. That's all.

I'm running with the MCS white repeaters, but with the black MC grilles. I think it's the best of both worlds.

Jtrem: FWIW, I think the Black (MC grille) and White (MCS light) would go good with your black/white check scheme.

Jtrem,

I know they cost money, but I thought you might like to see these (if you haven't already!):

MossMini - Chrome Side Vent Grille without S, Pair

(ignore the S vent - I think they just show you that for comparison)

And here are some other chrome vent ideas...

MiniMania - Chrome Side Vent Cross-Hatch

MiniMania - Euro Chrome Side Vent (Shark Gill) w/Light

MiniMania - Chrome Side Vent Rim w/Flames

I think side repeaters should not be considered "poser" status.

Like it's any of your business what he does with his fenders. All the S stands for to anyone with an MC is lousy gas mileage, so what's the big deal?

I don't mind. Just as long as you don't install a bonnett scoop.
How about a MCS with MC lenses? Here's mine.

I like this idea too. I would feel funny having a badge that didn't fit the car. The chrome does look great though.

I don't think that anyone was calling the white repeaters "poser", but the big red S was the discriminating factor.
