I'm a little confused... when's this "Speedo Face Off" event supposed to happen?

Would you be willing to do me a favor while you have the speedo face off?
Looks like great work, saw your gallery. Interesting take on the Corvette quad exhaust for the MCS...

@ Motor On, did the scan work out OK? Have you been able to work on the speedo at all?

I had classes start last week and a few interviews as well, and Pearl has been acting up a little so I haven't really had the chance to touch it yet I'll get some images up up if I can get some free time this weekend, then I've got to find a decent printer in my area before I look at opening it up.

Well, the person making my custom gauges has been behind schedule due to an overload of work and it will be prolly another 2 weeks before the real gauges are on my car.

So, being the creative person I am. I made my own gauge faces. Gonna print them on transparencies and hope all the symbols/lights still light up at night, not too worried about them though, the numbers light up thats whats important. Here are pics of the templates I made. The real gauges will be the same except for the symbols/lights will be normal and the speedometer will have the km/h. What do you think?

If you're gonna go thru with this, two pointers:
1. Drop the red at the Overheat and Low Fuel range.
2. Why not get rid of the ugly 'brake' and 'check engine soon' words, and change to the symbols. (Used on Canadian models..)

Those are my nit-picky points.

Well, originally my gauges were going to look like the OEM's just blue and silver. BUT.... since the person making my gauge faces has taken so long, I'm going to request that they be made like above. Where can I get pics of the Canadian template to see the symbols. AND, I will be taking the red out of the gauge.

PS: Need help with this ASAP. Thanks
