Anyone know where I can pick up the same alcantara used in the JCW products by the yard?

I was thinking of covering all the plastic surface pieces of the dash/instrument panel in this stuff to match my soon to be installed boots.

Anyone done this? I've searched but couldn't find anything. Feasability?

The place in Florida seems to be pretty knowledgable and well priced. They are sending me color swatches as well so I can match to the JCW pieces.

Anyone covered the plastic dash face pieces in anything? I can't believe it hasn't been done on here....anyone....

Heya amorican thanks for posting this, I was looking for the same info. Im not doing as much as you are but I am going take the headliner out and do it in Alacantra also to match my boots. I think it will look nice with my CF interior also. I also want to take out the silver plastic pieces and paint them, I might do my door inserts in alacantra also but I need to talk to some people first.

 

I have covered my dash in vinyl I posted a thread awhile back. It held up alright for awhile, but the cali sun is just too much for it.
