i just got a phone call from the shop telling me that my lip just came in.
so as soon as i can get it painted and installed, i'll have some pics. for you guys to see.

don't do it!

keep them bronze. a lot of people use silver rims already, just different looking.
the appearence of these Volks are completely different from the Hamann mainly because the color. i thought it gave you mcs the competition (but on the street though) look rather than the straight street look that you would get from your silver Hamanns.

i don't think there's a nicer looking mcs in HK.

that's just my opinion.
Oh, and no decals on the exterior please.

mm.. yummy. Do you still have the chrome bits on your car? I like the anthracite a LOT.. I wasn't actually expecting that my wheels would come SO close to the color of the car. I bought them from crappy online pics and without having the car yet - so I'm pleased that it looks as nice as it does! Flik had some neat-looking blacks, I thought.

I'm already scraping the front valance (stock) with the H-Sport springs. Does the Harman spoiler sit lower or stick out farther? I was going to paint the arches and valance but not so sure now. And yes i do know how to drive lowered cars, I've had them for years. But I wouldn't go back to stock springs these are just too much fun.

 

get the coilovers so you can adjust the height of your front shocks.....i've seen quite a few mcs / mc with springs only and the height is not so good for handling imo...once you get the coilovers, you can make more room for adjustments for your personal handling pref.

they look better stock, look at SMG's car!
once you get the rear diffuser i think your car will look perfect!
you still thinking about getting new wheels?
which ones are you running now, they look tuff!
one more, are you running stock springs?

yes i'm currently running stock springs.
i want to change them, but i can't find any stock height aftermarket progressive springs. i don't need to lower my car for the streets because i'm already scrapping like crazy.

i am thinking about coil-overs though because they're adjestable.
but still none of the coilovers on the market now adjest from stock height and down.
they all lower the car at least .5". so as of now, my suspension is still stock.

the rims that i'm using are hyperblack 18" 5zigen FN-01RC light weight (17.5 lbs each).
