Has anyone experienced this or have a fix?
I've been gone in Nepal for the past two weeks and when I got back and got my car out the door lock on the passenger side won't unlock.
It will lock, but only with the lock button on the car key, but not with the central lock switch on the dash, and nothing will unlock the door except pulling on the door handle on the inside twice.

Anyone have a fix on this?
I'm planning on taking the door panel off tomorrow and lubing what I can find to lube, but maybe there is something else to look at?

Funny thing about that... My driver's side door just started doing the same thing.. What is even stranger is that it started when it got "cold" here (down in the 40's)... It will lock sometimes by the remote but not unlock by the "normal" methods (remote, central lock).. The only way I can unlock it is with the key in the door from the outside - how "old school" is that.. Or the double pull from the inside..

Anyway, I debated on taking the door apart and looking around. But the more I think about it.. I think the solenoid has gone bad.. So I am leaning towards taking to the dealer to have it fixed (still covered).. Funny thing about that was I was just there for inspection 1 last week...

If I get any news on mine I share back..

 

We have just had some record low temps here as well, so maybe there is a relationship.

I'm planning on asking around some more, and I will post what I find out.
