Question on JCW Interior Parts

I put in my JCW E-Brake handle and Alacantra boot but had some questions on the install and fitment. First off the JCW e-brake handle slid on but remains loose, I saw that the retrofit instructions on MotoringFile there is some paste looking stuff to put on the e-brake handle for install, what is that? Also how do you connect the boot to the e-brake handle? How I have it right now it is very tight in the back and doesnt want to go down all the way so how it is now if I hit a bump it knocks the lever up enough to trigger the brake light. Can anyone help me out here?

TIA.

The boot connects to the handle with a tie-wrap. In order to keep the handle on the e-brake lever I put thin strips of duct tape on the handle and then twisted the handle on. It's not perfect, but unless you want to permanently glue the handle on, it's about the best option

Hope that helps

Ok, any chance someone could show me a picture on how it should fit? Its still a bit to tight when the e-brake isnt engaged and that has me worried it will rip.
