Headlight Tints?

Hi I see that some people here have got tints on their headlights on the glass. Is it done by sticking on a film sheet? If so where can I buy it from?

Wow, that looks real good. How is it when your headlamps are on? I don't know your states laws, but is that legal to drive with?

I bought some that have a blue tint (car is Indi Blue), but they got cloudy from highway sand-blasting too quickly. I've forgotten the brand, but the weren't as thick as the x-pel ones I had before.

Which brand is known for being tough and staying clear longer?

Since I've had them on, I haven't noticed any loss of light. Not sure what my state laws are but they've been on close to 4 months now and I've yet to be pulled over. The same goes to another mini club member of mine who has them also.

The lamin-x are pretty thick and I've haven't had any issue with them yet.
