Can someone with a service CD answer a question for me?
I'm trying to get the dash cover off a '06 convertable... Problem is, I've seen at least 3 other threads detailing how to remove the dashboard, but the cabrio doesn;t match those diagrams.
The cabrio dash (unlike the hard top) seems to be one solid peice and not 2 peices. This being the case, simply removing the 4 torx screws at the ends of the dash does nothing at all to loosen it - it's still solid as a rock. Pulling up on the front edge does nothing - it's too solid to budge. I found 2 additional torx screws under covers in the center air vent (stealthed to look like vent louvers - weird), but even with those 2 additional screws out the dash still won't budge.
I know that someone said that the BMW Service CD has the only known documentation on the cabrio (the printed versions don't cover the convertable's differences), so if someone can either link me to that page or tell me how thay got off their cabrio dash, I'd be very, very grateful.
Thanks in advance (I hope).

New bentley is due out this Spring thats supposed to cover it. Is it different than the hardtop or is in the pre 05 and 05 and on differance.
There is a website, soemthing like BMWtechinfo or similar that gives acess to the BMW intsructions, I think its $20-$30 for 24 hours of acess and you can save everything as PDFs
