I don't want to bug Doug with my questions, so I figure that he's sold a lot of these. Maybe someone out there can help. I'm not sure how to ask this, but I'm going to do my best. I've been working on a design for a Whalen Shift ****. The thing is, most of the pics on the internet do not have any solid objects. If they do, they're traced out. Is it possible to have an object engraved into the metal, not just traced. For instance, I'm attaching a picture of two circles overlapping. Could the one that is black be engraved into the **** and the white one be traced out? Or if you were trying for a ying-yang...could you do the same thing? Thank you.

 

Probably best to send your design to Doug and ask him. Anyone else would mostly be conjecture. He's very responsive, I've always recieved a response to even my wildest ideas within a day or two.

 

When I had mine done Doug told me that he can not remove solid areas, so he did a crosshatch pattern.

 

totally call or email Doug. He is AMAZING when it comes to communication. I probably emailed him a dozen times to make sure he got my **** just the way I wanted....and it is on the way now

He is a great guy, quick to respond, and is VERY helpful....so don't ever think you are bothering him.

Just contact him, he will make it happen for you
