rear view mirror

does anyoneone know if i can put the auto dimming mirror in to replace non dimming one is it easy to replace and do i have to do any wiring thanks

I didn't ask my MA about the auto dimming mirror... but for the homelink mirror - I think he said it'll need wired differently?

dark tinted rear window is an option as well ...

Depends on what year your mini is. IIRC, a newer mini is already pre-wired.

On my 06 I swapped out the basic mirror for one with Homelink built in. Try a search, you should get a bunch of info on it.

Where did you end up getting the replacement from? and how much was it?

On an 06 the auto-dip with homelink is a simple plug and play affair. All the wiring is already in place.
