LO-DRAG Aerokit Bumper
I saw this rear bumper on Lohen web site and just started talking about it on another thread... rather than go off course I decided to start this new thread.
Anyone knows if this will actually reduce drag? and for that matter reduces the dirt on the rear. One thing I know is that it looks cooool and wonder if it is easy to be done at the local body shop Lohen claims that it "aids air flow and improves aerodynamics"
Any thoughts...

I'm not sure if it will produce a tune or even sing for that matter. One thing I'm sure of is that it beats putting those ugly stickers down there. I'm sure not all people will like the look or will risk cutting their bumpers, but I sure know a few cut their hoods . If these cuts through the rear bumper will reduce drag it will probably intrest lots of people who actually hit the track. I'm not so sure I would go personally for the top cuts, but I'm sure about the lower ones.

it should reduce the vacuum created behind the car, which is effectively what creates drag. This is the exact same concept (but on a larger scale) that Ray Everham was using with his drilled out rivets that NASCAR nailed him for. It won't have a huge effect, but it will help. It would only be noticeable (as with most aerodynamic effects) on a race track though.

thanks rubyred3 for the added info.

Definitely, I feel the drag more when I get to 160 km and up which is about 100 mph gets more as you got faster. My MINI is quick in reaching 160 but it's really slower from there to 210 km (100mph to 130 mph)
