Interior/Exterior BULL BARS!!! SO CLOSE…
#26
I found the bull bars you show in image 1 on ebay and they are being installed right now. Pick up the car tomorrow and will post pics this weekend. I have a 2002 Cooper, so the brackets fit my bumper perfectly.
PS: you can order them from England at P and L Mini

Bull bars are now on, though the install was a bit tricky, I am told. Instructions were in German and the first attempt to cut into my bumper guard went a bit off ... holes cut in the wrong spot. Got a new one at no extra cost ... thankfully they had one in stock. Brackets were also countersunk for the bolts ... but on the wrong side????!!!. My installer used other bolts for the job and did a bit of work on the brackets.
Upper brackets are definitely JUST MADE FOR 2002 and 2003 COOPERS!!!. When they changed the grille to the smoother variety (mine's bevelled) they also changed the shape slightly in the bumper where the hood comes down.
FYI: Will NOT work with 07s at all or any Cooper S bumper (02-07 inclusive).
Will try to get some pics up in the next few days.

American...
That's funny.
People always ask what the "euro" or even "jdm" look is... sometimes I think it's easier to say what it's not. I believe this car is near opposite of that style. Off topic, but it just came to mind.
That's a lot of work gothboy. It's different and I can definitely appreciate your individual approach.

Hahah certainly not either of those styles.Though they do seem to be pretty easy to define. They are about having modifications that blend in with the initial design of the car and flow well with each other to give a clean and non-jumbled appearance. Often also discussed as OEM+ (Oem-plus).
