Two more weeks have passed and still no updates.

I've had enough and purchased an antenna from Kellen with Craven Speed when at MOTD.

That now makes 2 companies never ever to do business with, Palo Uber and Mini Works.

Recieved a PM from Mini Madness with an update. I do not know if what I was told is for public consumption, there was nothing disparaging in the note, just an up date on the process.

Just got off the phone with George at Mini-Madness. He asked me to send him my contact info so he could send me a replacement as well. He said that they were going to anodize them next Monday.

He also mentioned you, Gnatster, so you're definitely on his list!

We'll see what happens, but I do appreciate that Mini-Madness is stepping up.

Well, true to his word, George shipped me a new stubby. I just got it today and it looks GREAT!! Not painted ... not purple ... just black!

Thank you, George, for stepping up for PU!

OK, it's been like 6 weeks since the "new and improved" anodized one arrived. Figured it was time to give a report.

No issues with fade or chipping since it's been sitting on my desk the entire time.

Wow... "resists harsh interior lighting and the rigors of HVAC like nothing else"... kudos!

I didn't read this whole thread, but I have an Uber stubby for at least 6 months and had no problems with it, although the car is garaged at home. I did have issues with other Uber products and had some of the same problems that were complained about here, although they did replace the items quickly. Oddly they also sent me an extra stubby that I did not complain about or need. It looks annodized, as does the first one. I find if you keep on the problem, they will resolve it, which still does not account for the initial problems I read about here. Good luck in getting your matter addressed.

I have posted this picture some other places already on NAM but here's a picture of my tiny wee antenna. Only worth € 5,00, a fraction of what many dare to ask specially these Uber alles guys. It works great and look the business. This antenna is used by Peugeot and has a kind of rubber feel on the outside.

I think that this is very careless advice, as such a procedure requires a full-on ceremonial bris (or "brit milah" for our UK brethren, as well as the alternative pronunciation); circumcision really should be done only professionally by an experienced Mohel.

Where the heck is this "review section" hidden anyway? Maybe I have not looked hard enough to find it yet, but you would think rather than complaining in isolated threads throughout all of NAM that this would be the place to go. So, maybe I am not the only one who had difficulty locating it.

BTW, I see you may have been accused of shilling for PU, yet I don't see any mods listed on your long list of mods from PU. So, I am not so sure why you would be targeted. Seems that anyone who has any kind words for them must be a shill according to some. The whole world is not black and white; there are shades of grey too.

Me? I have tried a few PU items and I have had trouble with some and not others. I am still trying to resolve an issue or two with them. So far, at least, we are still talking. I think I'll try finding that review section again.

Top left of the page in the black bar starts with home ... under the NAM logo

OK, it was right under my nose. I guess I need a larger computer screen.

Update on my PU antenna.

Still on my desk, was off in a corner under the monitor until I recently detailed my desk. The antenna was slightly dusty otherwise it still is an objet d'art and serves no function other then to remind what a waste of $50 it is.
