My wife thinks my son and I have holes in our head when it comes to MODding the Mini. So we thought this was a very appropriate upgrade.




Its a MinSpeed (aka myMini) Aluminum "golf ball" shift ****. Feels good and is slightly larger in diameter over stock.

Anyone have any good links for aftermarket shift ***** for the mini? I'd like to replace mine at some point, but still haven't found the "right" one...

I'm a new Whalen user. Mines a brushed one with a Welsh Dragon. I love it, but my wife thinks I'm nuts.

Its tough when you visit yr local Mini Vendor and he has goodies laying around, we can never walk out without buying something. he invites us all the time for coffee and donuts .

 

I bough my Whalen from a nice fellow who had ordered a R56. The ***** from an R53 will not fit an R56. Keep an eye on the marketplace for used ones to pop up as folks change MINI's.

These ***** aren't cheap, but really are worth the price. They feel great.

Yeah, Whalens are one of the coolest mods you could do to your MINI!

 

I received my custom Whalen in the mail yesterday - it's a work of art. Installed it last night. I'm in looooooooooooove. Not to mention, Doug Whalen is one of the nicest gents I've dealt with.

 

Yeah, I need to plug Whalen and his shift *****....I literally had my new shift **** within days of inquiring. It was a real special treat to work with him and I can't say enough about the quality of the product. Seriously, I've owned a lot of cars (something like 17) and this is the nicest aftermarket **** I've purchased.
