Seen a Street Glow Cooper.... It was done tastefully and sweet... There are a lot of areas that can be accented with the "glow".... and you all know it!

i couldn't stop laughing at it!

I'm not trying to knock your car, if you like it, more power to you, but how does adding LED's and neon to a car allow you to 'carry out your own individuality'? maybe 5 - 10 years ago before you could go down to the local pep boys and buy all the parts, but now a days, i think that argument is stretching it... it's like people who get tats and piercings because they want to be different... No, you are now just like everyone who has tats and piercings...

I agree with what mightminiz said. There are some really aweful wheels on some of the MINIs I've seen but did I or anyone bash them and call it rice? I know that they liked it and that was cool. And there are a lot of colors and color combos I think dont look right for the MINI but I wont mention which ones.

Go ahead and laugh..Theres some people that laugh just at the sight of a MINI and make fun of it but I dont care cause I love my car. Its a little boring and it gets really old to see MINIs with the same mods at the MINI events...not all MINIs have to have a UJ flag or GB sticker.

They're illegal to drive with them on, not sure about if your parked or not.

mod the intake, exhaust, ride height, change the tailights for clears (according to CHP they let DOT approved clear lenses "slide". any performace engine work is Illegal, 5 point harnesses (even though they are safer) and rollcages. so the lights are the least of our problems. FLA I think allows neon/ StreetGlow, as long as they are not red or blue (so not to be confused for police or rescue personel)

I'm still thinking about underbody lighting, but I'm not sure what it would look like if most body panels were replaced with CF, CF and neon don't mix I think, (like Eurotuner/ Import tuner?

If it's for show, not go, go for it!... I don't care for it, but my major problem with it is when people have it on the road.. very distracting (and well, has a lame LOOK AT ME!!!!! side to it..)

It's purely a question of your personal tastes, but really why not just buy a Civic Si and put neons on it?

 

Those neon lights look like the blue bug zappers you see hanging from porches at the local trailer park.

Neon lights under the car are good if:
* you have a bad habit of dropping stuff under your car at night
* the lights have built in bug zappers
* if you want your MINI to match your lowered 1989 Chevy S-10

Otherwise, it is the most stupid thing a person could do to their MINI and it would give all MINI's a bad name, like it did the Honda Civic.

 

This is the real world, not The Fast and Getto-Fabulous.
I say don't "ricer-ize" your MINI.
