Small world...I too had an '04 GTO (MN6) and an S2000 (2007) but I'm 2 years ahead of you at 53. We now have 2 Mini Cooper S (a hatchback and a vert) and last week I got a 2013 JCW GP.


In comparison to the GTO and S2000 I like the GP's interior better, as well as its high speed handling. The GTO and S2000 were polar opposites, but each was fun in its own right. I don't miss the S2000. I do miss the torque of the GTO.

 

Turning 32 tomorrow and I just picked up my 2007 MCS with the JCW package about three weeks ago.

Now I'm thinking I must have been having one of those late (lol late) midlife crisis's
Seriously thinking about letting it go
But as far as driving and sheer fun......it's always puts a smile on my face just getting into it and pushing the start button

41. 2nd owner of an '11. It has the upgraded Harman Kardon sound system, which is wasted on me because all I want to hear is that engine. I have had several Civic Si's. They were Yugo's compared to the JCW. My face now hurts from smiling all the time.

27. Traded in my 2008 MCS a couple of months ago for a 2012 JCW Coupe. So much to do, but so little money to do it with....

45. This is my first owned MINI. HAD 2 miata's and many BMW's Gotta say although I gave up my mint miata of 11 years to get this I think I made the right choice. I know this because I catch my self doing the same things. Like opening the garage door and turning on the light and just looking at it for no reason at all. I know that sounds weird but if it's any indication of how much I will love this car compared to the miata,I'm gonna be a happy guy.
