Winter Wheel Setup

Hey guys,

Winter is coming and I'm looking to get a new set of winter shoes and tires for my brand new JCW.

Tire rack has a package with 16" and Blizzaks but I doubt they'll fit with the Brembo's on the JCW.

I have the 18" Cup spoke wheels.

What are you guys doing for the winter?

Due to the lack of aftermarket wheels to fit the JCW, I had to get the Pirelli Sottozeros mounted to the wheels that came with the car. I think there will be more options when it comes time to go back to summer tires.

No, you need at least 17"s, and ones that clear the huge Brembo calipers to boot.

Yea at least 17" wheels and some spacers. Brake are big, but not like the GP2 big brakes.

Any recommendations on the spacers ECS ? I've seen 6mm all the way to 15mm all around. Just looking for all 4 wheels to be flush with the fenders.

I have the set up for the Cooper S on the larger wheels and the JCW front brakes the front might need a little less. Depends also on height and wheels you run , best way is to measure to find your flush point.

Here is some spacer help for the F56 Crew:
