Nice exterior/interior color combinations.
What engine telemetry is present? My 2018 2-door JCW came with just a graphic coolant temperature level. I had expected so much more.
My Hellcat provides coolant temperature, automatic transmission temperature, engine oil temperature, oil pressure, engine oil life, battery voltage, intake air temperature, inter cooler coolant temperature (the engine is supercharged and has a liquid cooled inter cooler mounted under the supercharger), hp, torque, air/fuel ratio. Think that's all. A veritable smorgasbord of engine and vehicle telemetry. My JCW can barely manage an "OK" for coolant temperature.

Transmission is an Aisin 8 speed auto, not DCT. Already used in a number of Mini products. Drove a 2020 last weekend and I liked it against my 19 JCW 6 speed sport auto. The mirrors are different and more streamlined/rectangular shaped. As noted the seat material is a different color and more neutral. Otherwise, as far as I could tell, and except for pricing the 2020 car is no different from MY 19 cars. I have one ordered but might pick up a car this weekend that just came in at a local dealer with the options I want.
OP - nice car. Enjoy it.

I ordered mine right at the end of July and the dealership actually found the exact same car I wanted that was already ordered by another dealership so they just asked if they could have that one. The good thing was I didn't have to wait for it to come across the pond as it had just landed in Baltimore that week. I then had two wait a couple of weeks for it to pass emissions and then just a week to transport it. I took delivery the day after it showed up. It was nice to have some good luck since this replaced my Carbon edition I just bought brand new last year and is now totaled thanks to a driver who wasn't paying attention behind me. I hadn't even had it for a year and it only had 4700 miles on it. Also, you are correct on the transmission, it is not the dual clutch but I feel it is much smoother than the previous 6 speed I had in the Carbon. I' will try and load up some better pics of the mirrors later, my car is at the dealership getting some accessories put on today.

Same situation I find myself in although I just put in my order. I really don’t want to wait 2-3 months and then take delivery at the beginning of winter here if I can avoid it. So I have done the deal today and pick it up Saturday... very pleased to hear that the 8 speed seems smoother than the old 6 speed auto.
Iconic trim level but a lighter option spec than yours. Happily no DDC so I can put the JCW suspension on it with ease.

For those that have already ordered their 2020 JCW, is the JCW Pro Exhaust still an option that is available for 2020? I'm looking at ordering either a 2020 JCW Hardtop or a 2020 Clubman JCW to replace my 2016 S Hardtop. If anyone has an order sheet they could post I would appreciate it. Mini told me their online build your own won't be live for a while with all the 2020 changes.

My dealers says no on the exhaust and since the 2020 cars have been adapted for much more restrictive EU emissions and noise regulation I would guess Mini will not offer it. Which is not good.
Dealers have the guides and should be able to provide you with a copy so you can build your car. If not, I have one but would need to scan and post. No big changes really except some cost escalation, a new color or two, 8 speed sport auto replaces the 6 speed automatic, shifter is a BMW parts bin item, exterior mirrors are a new shape, leather sport seats trim is grey instead of red. Otherwise it looks the same as my 19 JCW HT traded on the new one. The only thing that feels different is the calibration of the non DDC suspension. Feels more supple and resolved (but still firm) compared to my 19.

Thanks for the info. That’s a bummer about the JCW Pro exhaust. I was really hoping to get it. I should be at the dealer in the next couple weeks for my next service. While that’s being done I’ll snag some deal sheets and maybe get to test drive both cars...I think right now they only have a 2020 JCW Countryman.

Yes, a bummer on the exhaust for sure. I bet the old exhaust will work on the 2020s. I am going to give it a try... can’t hurt.
I test drove drove a 2020 JCW Clubman. It is a nice car. Very fast with the added HP. But just too big and funky looking for me. Plus can get very pricey with options.
Good luck on your order.

So I'm still breaking the car in and enjoying it immensely. I am still waiting on the JCW exhaust and will let everyone know when I find something out. I'm still getting used to the transmission gear selector and the high revs the sport mode like to hang in. Sport mode seems to be more for track and zipping around where as the transmission in the non sport mode is very comparable to the Cooper S in sport mode. I have to say so far I am loving the car.

The 2020 JCW Clubmans started landing in August in North America with 301 hp
