New Weight after Mods for STU AutoX Class
So at just under 1/2 a tank of fuel the Mini's weight was 2860...now with a lighter Strut/Shock Coilover setup...a lighter NM Exhaust...lighter NM Wheels...a lighter AWE Air Intake...Forge Hard Pipes...and now the much lighter Braille B3121 Battery...
The weight is 2740#'s
I could still install lighter race seats in the front but I will probably skip that for now and just be faster by, well, being faster!
The Braille B3121 lifted 30#s off the drivers side front of the Mini...
It will be interesting at this Saturday's AutoX how I place. Everyone is doing some big mods in STU since I have moved from the bottom of the pack to the top 1/2.
I am still going to look into an ECU Tune, but for now I will run what I brung.

Today's AutoX Results:
I ran in the 3rd Heat...and I mean HEAT. It really took a bit out of the tires IMO.
I came in 3rd in STU to a Subaru STI in Stu that won nationals last year and was second this year. Two drivers in the Subaru ran 49.224 and 49.439 in the 2nd heat which was the best time to run. I and the rest of STU ran in the third hear...HEAT. I turned a 50.253. 4th was a 50.926 5th was a 52.933 and so on.
I also ran faster than STX...1st place was 50.366
STS...1st place was 50.802
STR...1st place was 50.378
STH...1st place was 50.874
They all ran in Heat 2...as you can tell, the groups are all fast. There were 140 entrants...
The Darbys Mini is getting there week by week...
