a good start into 21. The Race Version of the GP3 late this year might pair up with our green friend

@Chamberlin1 I just got coded my 2021 JCW manual with bimmercode, for now I turned off active sound, turned on sport memory, turned off stop/start at startup. I like the active sound off, I can hear the car working better, and the exhaust for what it really is. It's actually not shockingly quiet.

Speaking of exhaust, I'm still running with the stock exhaust and I can hear faint burbles sometimes and pops in sport mode, and even sometimes in comfort mode. One of the easiest way is to give throttle until 3k and release the throttle, pops pretty much every time in sport mode.

It's not loud, but it seems to be getting louder, and without the active sound I can hear it better. I actually don't need the pops to be obnoxious, so I think I'll keep the stock exhaust longer and see how it evolves over time.

My car has about 2300 miles.

Thanks for your comments @sycd - Just to confirm, your car is a USA market car? Because I have a suspicion different markets are getting different tunes in addition to the possible presence of the Exhaust Particulate Filter (which mine does not have BTW).

I've heard a stray, random burble once or twice, but nothing that I would call purposeful and I've tried all kinds of revs and it just sounds like a stock Honda Civic. I'm at 3300 miles.

I did message DINAN and they said to hold on as they will be releasing some products soon.

Sold off the F56 JCW a few days ago- it was fun, but going back to R53 or 135i for the next round. Heck, maybe even Lotus Emira next year Thanks for those following this thread and for all the input and info.

That’s a bummer, I really thought you were going to come around! It was such a nice color combo. Two great choices you are looking at do I’m sure you will be happy.
