crank but no start (and no climate control)
need some help from the experts
i've got a 2010 R56 JCW and it sat for 4 months for a variety of reasons. a few of which were low boost code and a terrible oil leak.
i replaced the turbo and accessory seals, went to prime coolant and the heater controls were not functional (new symptom). cranking shows on the tach but would not start.
i measured voltage at the coils and no joy.
Mini To Be was kind enough to test the ECU, both fuse boxes and footwell module. he installed in a 2009S. car started.
a couple questions come to mind:
can we conclude that all electronic boxes are good because they worked in his test vehicle
where does the voltage come from that triggers the coil relay when key is on?
i suppose it is possible that a rodent got to a harness. i dont see signs but i'll dig in.
help please.
cheers
