Another JCW injector question

Another JCW injector question...
My '04 rescue Mini has most of the jcw stuff in place, ecm with sticker on bottom, valve cover serial number, paint spot on the head and more. The other day I had the IC off to check fuel pressure and see that it has white top injectors. I realize this could mean a lot of things, but mostly either not a jcw and correct S injectors or jcw and dangerous lean injectors. But my question is this, OEM blue 380lb "jcw" injectors are stupid expensive. Ebay replacements range from $42/set (no, I couldn't bring myself to buy those) https://www.ebay.com/itm/33531745997...QZ7BFTP52JKVKM

to a reasonable $126/set https://www.ebay.com/itm/14476197020...3Avlp_homepage

which could even still be the previously mentioned $42 set with a hefty markup, as I have run into similar situations before, and I damn sure don't want to pay $126 for a $42 set of injectors if you know what I mean. So has anyone bought and tested any of these aftermarket injectors and are any good to use?

Just found this post from 2019 which explains the white injectors.

No....only 2005+ jcw cars with the JCW 210 PACKAGE had injectors....or cars upgraded to the newer kit....it came with the jcw cai, injectors, and an updated tune, plus the other jcw item
The older jcw engine kits DID NOT HAVE BIGGER INJECTORS.
Older kits had stock 340 injectors (tan)....jcw are blue.

4 nozzles instead of 2, you get what you pay for, but maybe you’d luck out. If you have OEM, maybe look into having them tested and or rebuilt. After reading your post again, and the clip from the thread on the bottom, sounds like you’re all set with what you’ve got. What ever you do, don’t try to upgrade to 380s off eBay, they even sell those on the Walmart website 😂

Thanks Jonny,
Yea, I think the white or tan top injectors are correct for my car (early ‘04 jcw). I’ll be pulling the motor/trans for a clutch this fall, also catch up years of neglected maintenance. Those injectors aren’t too expensive so may go for a new set at that time, kinda suspect one leaking.

There are companies online that clean and flow test injectors for $12 each. Start there with your existing injectors. And, just because they're cheap online doesn't mean they don't work. I run eBay-purchased off-brand 380cc injectors on my 220hp MC40 and they flow tested correctly.
